Isolated house
I decided on watercolour for this exercise, I feel as though I’ve got some of the perspective in this landscape , but the colours need a little bit of improvement.

Cottages
This part had more detail, so I used ink for parts of the buildings, then went with water colour and acrylics, this was a pleasant exercise, keeping my interest in the lessons.

Autumn scene
This is a watercolour, I didn’t get exactly the shades of colour for autumn,
It was another bright cheery piece, it took me a while to Finnish but got there in the end

Carephilly Castle
I thoughrely enjoyed this exercise, one of my favourite.
We had a lesson on perspectives, this was very helpful, my colours were more realistic

Meerkats
This subject was a challenge, the fur was very hard to get right.
More practice needed on this one.

Nature watch
Pen Pencil and ink, I found this a subject I really enjoyed, and the medium was one I could follow, it gave me confidence to put my own ideas into practice.
The step by step guide was very helpful.

Autumn Beauty
I had more than one try at this. I was a bit heavy handed
With the colours, I need to practice.
I managed to get the path second time around.

Colour explorataion
This Task was very much in the eye of the beholder, my water needed improvement, and my colour mix could have been better, will keep trying.

Berber and camels
I had a lot of pleasure with this subject, and my colours improved.
I had pen and ink to follow, this makes life easier for me.

Sleeping Fox cub
Another lovely exercise using the skills that seem to suit me.
We used a grid to get the proportions right, not as good as it should be,
The approach we used was pen and ink with water colour, another one I really enjoyed.

Dare valley
This exercise was fun to do, working in Acrylics, I feel with this one my eye for colour
and proportions are improving.
I still need help with shades of colour, not getting it quite right yet.
Art has helped me with my sense of well being in lots of positive ways.

Landscape with bales of hay
I approached this exercise with a light sketch starting from top to bottom.
I then went on with layers of Acrylic paints.
The mistake I made was that I havn’t got the shading to show the angles of the shadows.
Will keep at it.
