Camels and Berber
Really enjoyed this challenge. Was more difficult than I thought it would be, getting the scale and proportion was hard, but overall pleased with end result.
Flowers in watercolour
Not really happy with it, found it quite difficult to get the depth in the flowers that I was after and ended up spoiling it a bit I feel. I may revisit but do it in ink first and then wash. I don't think I have the technique yet to get the results I was hoping for with this painting,
Wooden barn
Really enjoyed this task, ink and watercolour is something I want to try more of. Happy with the colour and tone of the piece, though the trees and post are my least favourite part. Pleased with the sense of depth in the barn interior.
Pen and wash Tiger
...without the last few weeks I wouldn't have had the confidence to even try this.
Eyes a bit too close together but overall happy with the result.

Ink Highland-Cow
This was a quick sketch in my preferred medium of ink and I have to say I'm pleased with the way it turned out. I exaggerated the bulk of the bow to give an impression of weight and how imposing it is.
Pastel-highland Cow
I hadn't used pastels in a long, long time and never pastel pencils. Much prefer the pencils and am happy with the cow, but wish i'd not added the green background. I may revisit and tweak or try again.
Watercolour after David Bellamy
Really pleased with this work. First watercolour study and I was really surprised at the versatility of the medium. The whole class is a great way to relax but also learn new skills.
