Autumn Beauty
Autumn Beauty ....another from Adam Papke.
This is my most favourite piece. Very wet into wet, chucked some colour on and let it find its own way around. Let it dry a little before adding the trees and foliage. Took courage, but I'm super thrilled with the result.

Colour Exploration by Adam Papke.
Very little sketching involved here. The main technique used was wet into wet. Persevered and eventually something pleasing and recognisable emerged. More reflections on water, so, delighted.
Eagle owl
Fine liner background in vibrant yellow. Various grades of black fineliner ink pens completed the Eagle Owl. Amazing contrast, simple but very effective. Enjoyed this very much.
Bird on branch
Nature Watch by Philip Harris.
This was sketched in pencil before applying any ink. I used Fine liner pens. The bird was finished in a Burnt Sienna colour and for the trees and background I put on a muddy green.
The colourway is a nice contrast and not that far from natural. I got a lot of pleasure from this task and am very content with the result.

Fox
Peaceful Rest 3rd attempt.
I'm afraid that I used pencil and watercolour to complete this image by Ian Hull, instead of pen and ink. However, hopefully I've captured the essence of the sleeping fox.

Natures reflection
Natures Reflections 2nd attempt.
This image was more complicated than I first thought, several different fields bordered by hedges, a row of cottages half hidden behind trees and all of it reflected in the water.
I am particularly drawn to reflections on water. Hope I've done Top Lake justice.
