I joined this art class as a absolute beginner, it started online in March 2021, I have to admit it was with the attitude “I'll give it a go” in the first part of the class I listened in to the other students and the Tutor, The first exercise, was a Pen and Wash Trees, the biggest surprise for me that they actually looked like trees. I did look on the internet for a few tips. I really enjoyed my first lesson

Landscape, and Seascape I felt were quite challenging, in fact the moment of truth, because I had no idea how to paint. The subject was the bandstand in Tenby. The sketch was a little out of proportion, but plodded on, not my finest moment. This was when I decided I would get better at art. This was also the first time I had attempted water colours, and realised I would need a lot more help in my new hobby.
